Rock and roll

‘’Per me, il rock and roll non è soltanto un genere musicale, ma un simbolo potente di libertà e ribellione, una forza che trascende la musica stessa. È un suono che riempie lo spazio, travolgendo chi lo ascolta con un’energia primordiale e liberatoria. In questo mio dipinto, ho voluto trasporre visivamente quell’energia vibrante attraverso una sovrapposizione di forme geometriche, che si intrecciano e si sovrappongono. Le linee taglienti, dure e precise, si fondono con curve morbide e fluide, quasi a rappresentare la dualità intrinseca del rock: ruvido e crudo, ma al tempo stesso melodico e emozionale.

Ogni elemento della composizione vuole richiamare l’impulso irresistibile del ritmo e l’urgenza espressiva tipica di questo genere, dove ribellione e armonia convivono in un equilibrio dinamico. Così, il dipinto non si limita a raffigurare il rock and roll, ma diventa una vera e propria esperienza visiva che invita l’osservatore a immergersi nel flusso sonoro e nella libertà selvaggia che questa musica rappresenta.’’

It’s a sound that fills the space, overwhelming those who listen with a primal, liberating energy. In this painting, I wanted to visually convey that vibrant energy through an overlay of geometric shapes, intertwined and overlapping. Sharp, hard, and precise lines blend with soft, fluid curves, almost representing the inherent duality of rock: raw and gritty, yet melodic and emotional at the same time. Each element of the composition aims to evoke the irresistible drive of rhythm and the expressive urgency typical of this genre, where rebellion and harmony coexist in dynamic balance. Thus, the painting doesn’t just depict rock and roll, but becomes a true visual experience that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the sonic flow and the wild freedom this music represents.’’
